The CBYX scholarship is currently accepting applications for the 2019-20 program! To start an application or to log-in to your existing application, click here. To be considered for the 2019-20 program, applications must be completed and submitted by 11:59PM Pacific on December 11, 2018.

CBYX is administered regionally by four well-renowned international exchange organizations. Residents of the following regions will apply to CBYX through CIEE: AZ, CO, DC, FL, GA, KS, KY, MN, NC, NE, NM, OH, OK, SC, TX, UT, VA, WV, WY, and Puerto Rico.

Basic Eligibility:
To be considered eligible for a CBYX scholarship, you must be:

  • A U.S. citizen
  • Aged 15 to 18 ½ on August 1 of the program departure year: born between February 1, 2001 and August 1, 2004 for the 2019-20 program
  • A current high school student at the time of application, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
